My name is Asya.  I am the designer and owner of Stinky Feet Gurlz and I started this company when I was 13 years old.  I was shocked and sickened to learn that the average age of girls sold into prostitution is 12-18 years old!  That could be me!  But thankfully it is not.  And because of that, I’m truly thankful and grateful for everything in my life and determined to make a difference in this world. It starts with me and it starts with you.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

MISSION STATEMENT: She Is Worth It! is determined to bring Action and Preventative Awareness to both Child Sex Trafficking/Slavery and backlogged Rape Kits. We have an emphasis on Reaching girls who are targeted by sex traffickers in America and globally. We want to bring Preventative Awareness to our schools across America so our youth will no longer be blinded by the Pimps that call themselves “boyfriends.” We believe that our school systems and the public have a RESPONSIBILITY in educating our youth about this crime. Too many educators are tight lipped about this subject because it’s “taboo.” We want to take the lid off this issue and care MORE about the welfare of the children and LESS about being embarrassed.

 

We also have an emphasis in providing awareness and funds necessary to test backlogged rape kits and passing a bill mandating that law enforcement agencies would be required to send all evidence kits collected to a lab within 14 days and processed within 90 days. Also, law enforcement agencies would be required to report to the Department of Justice the number of rape kits they collect and process and make that number available to the public.  She Is Worth It! would ultimately like to see the laws changed regarding the Statute of Limitations on sexual assault.  We would like to have prosecutable time limits, especially in cases where DNA has been collected, removed and treated like a violent crime.

We will not be satisfied until EVERY state is on board and participating!

I am now a young woman.   As a child, I had a vision of a better future for these women and children and I am a girl that knows that EVERY survivor has value.  I need everyone to understand and recognize that every young girl that is snatched away from their life is a daughter, a sister, a niece & a friend.

 

I know I’m worth it…and so are they.
